Photo by Nicholas Kamm/AFP/Getty ImagesVice President Joe Biden, in a statement released by the White House, announced a $100 million plan that pledges to make it easier to access mental health services.The vice president met with the families of those lost in the deadly Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, where he planned to discuss the funding measure. According to the plan, $50 million of the budget would go towards mental health services at community health centers with the other half going to the improvement of mental health facilities.The funding will come from both the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture.
