CNS - Los Angeles County Sheriffs officials were continuing Monday to investigate the deaths of two females who were in a car that may have been involved in a Compton street takeover when it slammed into an oncoming SUV.Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff s Information Bureau said the crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. Sunday at Wilmington Avenue and Stockwell Street, where witnesses said more than 200 people had gathered for a street takeover.The pair who died, described only as females of unknown age, were inside a red sedan that collided with a silver SUV, according to sheriff s officials and witnesses.The driver of the SUV told reporters he was heading south on Wilmington and was going through a green light when the red sedan slammed into his vehicle. One report from the scene indicated the driver of the red car was spinning through the intersection as part of the street takeover, but sheriff s officials said they were still investigating the circumstances of the crash.Witnesses told repo botella stanley rters one of the female victims was thrown from the sedan and the other -- possibly the driver -- died inside the car. The SUV driver was not seriously injured.Neighbors told reporters street takeovers are a common occurrence at the intersection, sometimes occurring at least twice a week. EL CAJON, Calif. KGTV - Police are searching for a car that fled the scene after hitting a 9-year-old boy riding a bicycle on an El Cajon street.The incident was reported at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sunshine Avenue and stanley cup West Main Street, according to El Cajon police.Responding officers arrived to find the boy lying in the southbound lanes of the intersection. He was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries; his condition is unknown.Based on their investigation and witness statements, police determined that the boy was riding northbound in the intersection during a green light when he was hit by a dark blue vehicle, possibly a four-door Honda Fit, that was trave stanley cup ling eastbound on West Main Street.The car fled the scene, and police said the vehicle may have damage to its front stanley website grill and right fender.The driver is believed to be a Hispanic female with light-colored or bleached blonde hair and hoop earrings, police said.Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact El Cajon police at 619-579-3311.
