LEXINGTON, Ky. -- A young dog that was found branded with a profane word has undergone cosmetic surgery in Kentucky to mask part of the word that was chemically burned into her.The dog, a pit-bull mix named Felicity, was taken in last month after being found tied to a fence. Lexington Humane Society officials say they have found her a home but wanted to do surgery to try to hide the four-letter word.Several people have donated money for a reward to find the dog s abuser. The local animal control office is offering a $3,500 reward. The surgery was performed Thursday by Liz Ubelhor, the staff veterinarian.
